By becoming the winning auction bidder you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the vehicle described in this Ebay auction. A good faith, non-refundable deposit of $500 should be forwarded to Carlisle Chevrolet within two (2) business days after the close of the auction. Forms of payment for the deposit can be PayPal, or your bank’s wire transfer. The balance of the purchase price, including all applicable fees and taxes, must be paid to Carlisle Chevrolet by cashier's check or bank wire transfer within five (5) calendar days after the auction ends. No vehicle will be delivered until final payment is made. Vehicle title will not be transferred until Carlisle Chevrolet receives title and is satisfied that funds used for the transaction are legitimate United States dollars. We reserve the right to contact your financial institution during your bank’s regular hours of operation to verify the authenticity of your payment. So, if you plan to take delivery of your vehicle during a weekday late in the afternoon or on Saturday, we will want you to have payment completed and verifiable in advance of your arrival.
For buyers residing outside of Texas, the total amount to Carlisle Chevrolet will be the final Ebay auction price, an inventory tax representing .002262 of the auction price, and a $50.00 document fee. For example, a final auction price of $10,000 would result in a cashier’s check of $10,072.62 payable to Carlisle Chevrolet. You will be responsible for any and all fees applicable to your state.
For Texas residents, the total amount of the vehicle purchase will include the final Ebay auction price, an inventory tax representing .002262 of the auction price, $50.00 document fee, title transfer fee of $35.50, registration fee of $59.80 for a passenger car, and Texas sales tax of 6.25% of the auction price. For example, a final auction price of $10,000 would result in a bank wire transfer of $10,792.92 paid to Carlisle Chevrolet.
Unless specified, all vehicles offered through Ebay are purchased on an “as is” basis with no warranty implied or expressed. However, some vehicles are still under the manufacturer’s warranty. We also offer GM Certified Used Vehicles that gives the auction buyer a warranty of 3,000 miles or 90 days, whichever comes first. In the case of a vehicle still under the manufacturer’s original warranty, the GM Certified Used Vehicle designation extends the new car warranty an additional three (3) months or 3,000 miles. Generally speaking, the GM Certified Used Vehicle designation gives the Ebay auction purchaser a peace of mind concerning the mechanical and appearance of the vehicle. If the auction vehicle is under the manufacturer’s warranty and/or is a GM Certified Used Vehicle, we will add this information to the vehicle description.
We strongly urge all potential Ebay auction buyers to come to our dealership during normal business hours to personally inspect the vehicle you are considering purchasing. However, we realize that option is not always practical for all Ebay auction bidders. So, you are welcome to send a representative including a professional auto evaluation company at buyer's expense to Carlisle Chevrolet during the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. M-F, or 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 Saturday.
We will be in contact with the winning bidder within minutes after the auction ends to discuss the total amount due, vehicle shipping or pickup, and to help you with any of your personal transportation needs. If you have arranged for shipping of your vehicle, we are happy to deliver your new vehicle to any of the transport services within 50 miles of our dealership at no charge to you. If you are flying into the Dallas area to take delivery of your vehicle, we will gladly meet you at D/FW International Airport or Love Field to drive you without charge to Carlisle Chevrolet. If you are considering leasing a vehicle for your trip to our dealership, it is important to know there is a full-service Hertz office on-site as your drop off point.
We are in no way interested in selling a vehicle to you that has been misrepresented in our description concerning the vehicle’s condition and features.
